| MYSQL is a
robust and FREE database server that , in our experience, is better than the
Microsoft product. We have used MYSQL as a foundation for web / PHP
projects and as a back end for MS Access. It's worth noting that it worked
better and easier in this role than the MS product (consider this; an
open source application (supported by Sun ) worked better with an MS Office
product than did SQL Server 2005 !)
