You also need to be running
Ad-Aware , though we have found that it misses some threats. For this
reason we suggest using it in conjunction with the Microsoft Anti-Spyware
product.
This is a good place to discuss virus and spam
fighting.
If you have an ordinary virus you don't need us; buy
a copy of Norton or MacAfee- though we are happy to come in and tune these
products. If they don't work it may be due to the newness of the virus; it
takes these firms time to create a cure. In the meantime we can be of help;
all viruses work by manipulating the operating system, inevitably placing
themselves in startup routines of the system. As we know these processes we
are often able to manually disable viruses if not completely eliminate them.
Many new viruses steal credit card info and send it
back to - in our last case, Russia. We were of invaluable aid to our client
even as we could only disable , not eliminate, the virus ; we were able to
see what the virus was doing and warn the client to cancel his credit cards.
